Know Your Self
“To know yourself as the Being underneath the thinker, the stillness underneath the mental noise, the love and joy underneath the pain, is freedom, salvation, enlightenment.” – Eckhart Tolle
Truth is that the greatest obstacle to self-discovery is not ignorance - it is an illusion of thinking you're who you're not.
Do you know that many people do not know themselves? They only know their ego – they think they are what they have or what they do. To live life this way is to truly be pitiably backward.
Often, such people use that illusory living to disguise the emptiness within – all shine, no depth.
My friend, you’ve been issued this one precious life, how are you spending it? Are you wallowing around in false airs, or are you living to find out who you genuinely are?
Until you know who you are, you cannot connect to that innate peace and joy which are in the domain of the soul.
The best disservice you can do to yourself is to pass through this sweet life without knowing yourself because your mission is the rediscovery of your lost self.
Think About This!
Did you know? – You burn more calories while sleeping than you do when watching television.
