Are You Idle?
“An idler is a watch that wants both hands; as useless if it goes as when it stands.” – William Cowper
We’ve often heard the saying that the idle hand is the devil’s workshop.
Idleness relates to a person not engaged in any constructive work for some time.
But the reality is that if you’re not busy living, then you’re busy dying because idleness is the self-made sepulchre of a living man.
To be idle is to add no value to anyone, including even yourself.
Are you idle? Be advised. It’s the bird that sits that’s readily shot. Get busy.
Did you know? – Laziness leads to creativity and deep thought about your future.
