Stay Humble – It Pays
“True humility is being able to accept criticisms as graciously as we accept compliments.” – Sabrina Newby
Some people are naturally humble, but it takes humiliation to teach some the virtue of humility. Truth is no matter how smart, successful, good-looking or unique you are, nobody likes a braggart.
If you’re arrogant and cocky and still have a lot of people around you, it’s not because they like you; it’s what they get from you they like.
One way to stay humble is to realise just how small you are in the wondrous world around you.
For example, spending time with your children – who, by the way, don’t care about your business success but just want to spend time with you – helps you to stay humble.
