Stay Humble – It Pays

“True humility is being able to accept criticisms as graciously as we accept compliments.” – Sabrina Newby

Some people are naturally humble, but it takes humiliation to teach some the virtue of humility. Truth is no matter how smart, successful, good-looking or unique you are, nobody likes a braggart.

If you’re arrogant and cocky and still have a lot of people around you, it’s not because they like you; it’s what they get from you they like.

One way to stay humble is to realise just how small you are in the wondrous world around you.

For example, spending time with your children – who, by the way, don’t care about your business success but just want to spend time with you – helps you to stay humble.

Hear what Michel de Montaigne said: “On the highest throne in the world, we still sit only on our own bottom.”

Good Morning!
……………
Did you know? – Humble leaders are not only better liked, as you might imagine, but they are also more effective.

How does a humble person react when humiliated. When someone pisses you off especially an older fellow and you put it back to him, is it lack of humility?

Sometimes you need to speak to for yourself in certain situations.

People need to know Humility is not a disposition of stupidity, howbeit you need not be rude about the reaction.
