Be Happy For Another
“Happiness cannot be travelled to, owned, earned, worn or consumed. Happiness is the experience of living every minute, with love, grace, and gratitude.” – Denis Waitley
I once worked in an organisation where career advancement was sometimes due to who you know and how you know who you know. Twice a colleague was bypassed during promotion until the entire department almost went on strike action on his behalf. Yet during all these years Sonny, the victim’s name (not mine), would rejoice with his promoted colleagues, believing that one day his own would come. Then one day he got an appointment in an organisation that paid him much more than even his own Managing Director was earning. Such is life!
Have you ever been in a situation where you do all the work, but someone else gets the promotion? Or when a less qualified person gets a job, and you remain unemployed?
At such times it’s easy to be jealous, envious or even angry.
The irony, however, is that when you’re happy for another’s blessing, you remove the block that keeps your own fulfilment from manifesting, thereby effortlessly attracting that very thing you desire.
Indeed, there’s immense power in being happy for another person’s good fortune.
Therefore, Have A Happy Day!
Did you know? – As little as 7 minutes of exercise can be enough to give you a noticeable boost in happiness levels. Even if you don’t have time for a strenuous workout, a quick burst of activity can make a big difference.
