Water Your Gardens
“A garden requires patient labour and attention. Plants do not grow merely to satisfy ambitions or to fulfil good intentions. They thrive because someone expended effort on them.” – Liberty Hyde Bailey.
I remember the first time, as a little boy, my dad took me to the airport. I was shocked to see the aeroplane small as my little palm far away in the sky to be a gargantuan iron bird on the ground. It was then I realised that the farther away the aeroplane is in the air, the smaller it gets.
Do you know this is a truism of life, that whatever you focus your attention on expands and whatever you take your mind away from withers?
Yeah, if you draw nigh to the Universe, the Universe will draw nigh to you, for the Universe understands you in your secret places.
The same thing goes for your relationships; water them with time and attention – it’s an excellent way to make them grow.
