Spread the love

“He who rejects change is the architect of decay. The only human institution which rejects progress is the cemetery.” – Harold Wilson

It is often said that the only permanent thing in life is change.

Often, however, change comes with pain and suffering, sorrow, and stress.

The irony is that man hates change, especially painful change, yet it is the only thing that brings progress.

Are you currently going through the throes of change in your career, relationship, or business?

At such times when the pain seems unbearable, do well to recall the words of Gail Sheehy: “If we don’t change, we don’t grow. If we don’t grow, we aren’t living.”
