“Everything has beauty, but not everyone sees it.” – Confucius
Growing up, we had a saying amongst us primary school pupils: “the monkey may not be beautiful, but its mother loves it!” Similarly, anything that’s attractive or good-looking to the observer is said to have beauty.
If God is Beauty (as I’m sure He is), it, therefore, makes sense to declare that there can be no such thing as ugly in Creation , for it is inconceivable that God created anything contrary to His nature.
The truth is that the Universe is beautiful, and life is sweet, but only those with brilliant minds see the beauty in everything.
Little wonder Ralph Waldo Emerson opined that though we travel the world over to find the beautiful, we must carry it with us or we find it not.
Search yourself, my friend, do you have a beautiful mind to see the beauty in others?
