“Desire and fantasy go hand-in-hand, making reality jealous.” – Conny Cernik
Climbing the staircase to a client’s office yesterday, I heard a lady complain about her dark skin color and sought from her friend what cream she could use to tone it up.
Have you observed how many people admire and desire what others have and they lack?
A short, pretty lady wishes she were tall; a plump lady wants to be slim like her colleague, a lanky young man desires thickset, heavy muscle arms, and so on.
To crave what you can’t have is to attempt to wrench from the Universe what It never intended you to desire. It’s a way of saying the Universe made a mistake – the most foolish way to waste time and exhibit ignorance.
My friend, never let the things you want make you forget the things you have, for a grateful heart is indeed a magnet for the stuff you need.
Therefore, be thankful for the things you have; it’s the fastest way to unlock the fullness of life.
Have Thanksgiving Day!
